COMPANY OVERVIEW
Prefab Smart Living Homes is a US-based company selling premium prefab and container homes, from compact ADUs and tiny homes on wheels to two-storey generational housing. Its range spans two tiers: a Luxury Premier collection built with reinforced structural steel and certified windows for hurricane-grade wind ratings, and a more accessible Luxury Plus collection with enhanced energy efficiency and certifications. The client needed a website built from scratch that could present these homes with the visual richness they deserve, 3D imagery, video, floor plans, and pricing, while steering every visitor toward a consultation rather than a direct purchase.
THE OBJECTIVE
The client came with a specific sales philosophy and a clear set of references (ContainerHomeX, Musk Tiny House, My Tiny Home Hub). The core requirement shaped everything: he did not want to sell homes directly online. Instead, the site had to guide people to book a free, no-pressure consultation first — making lead capture, not checkout, the primary goal. The objectives were to:
To achieve this, the objectives were:
- Build a complete website from scratch that showcases premium prefab homes with a high-end, media-rich feel
- Present two distinct product tiers, Luxury Premier and Luxury Plus, with clear specifications, floor plans, and pricing
- Support rich media on the homepage: 3D images, 3D videos, slideshows, and photography of real homes
- Make "Book a Free Non-Sales Consultation" the central call-to-action, with a purpose-built booking form
- Surface financing prominently (lenders available, monthly payment estimates, low credit-score approval)
- Structure supporting pages: Home, Explore Homes, Financing, About Us, Process, Smart Accessories, Contact, and Shipping Policy
- Deliver a fast, responsive experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile
Ready to build a media-rich, lead-generating website for your brand?
THE CHALLENGE
The defining constraint was the inverted sales model. Most e-commerce builds push toward a cart; this one had to actively avoid direct selling and instead funnel every path toward a consultation booking. That reframed the entire structure, product pages needed to inform and entice, then hand off to a form rather than a checkout. The second challenge was the media. The client wanted 3D images, 3D walkthrough videos, and slideshows sitting alongside static photography and floor plans on a single homepage, a lot of heavy visual content to organise without overwhelming the layout or slowing load times. Some source assets even needed adaptation (for example, reworking a floor plan to swap a bedroom for an entertainment room), so the build had to accommodate custom, evolving creative. Third was the product architecture itself: two tiers, each with multiple models at different square footages, price points, and certification levels, all needing to be browsable and comparable without confusion. Layered on top were financing details that had to appear consistently against each model to make high-ticket homes feel attainable.
Upon conducting a deep audit, we discovered the core issue:
- Building a premium website that showcases prefab and container homes through rich visual content.
- Designing the website around a consultation-first sales model instead of traditional e-commerce checkout.
- Presenting Luxury Premier and Luxury Plus collections clearly without confusing potential buyers.
- Organising multiple home models with different sizes, prices, specifications, and certifications.
- Displaying 3D visuals, videos, slideshows, photography, and floor plans without overwhelming visitors.
- Managing large media assets while maintaining fast website performance.
- Making high-ticket prefab homes feel more accessible through clear financing information.
- Presenting technical specifications such as steel construction, certifications, and wind ratings in an easy-to-understand format.
- Creating a simple consultation journey for customers who may be unfamiliar with the prefab home buying process.
- Adapting and presenting custom floor plans and evolving visual assets across the website.
- Creating a responsive experience that delivers the same premium feel across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
THE SOLUTION
We designed and built the site from scratch on WordPress, using the client's reference sites as a directional starting point rather than a template, and structured the entire journey around consultation rather than purchase. Every model, across both the Luxury Premier and Luxury Plus collections — is presented in a browsable layout with its own imagery, square footage, starting price, and monthly financing estimate, then routes the visitor to "Explore" and ultimately to a booking rather than a buy button. The homepage carries the media the client cares about: 3D visuals, video walkthroughs, slideshows, and real photography, arranged so the richness reads as premium without cluttering the page. To reinforce the non-sales approach, "Book a Free Non-Sales Consultation" recurs throughout as the primary action, feeding a dedicated consultation form. A clear three-step "Your Path to the Perfect Space" process (Pick Your Model → Schedule Your Consultation → Make It Yours) sets expectations and removes friction for buyers unfamiliar with prefab. Financing is woven in at every level, per-model estimates plus a dedicated Financing page highlighting low-credit-score approval, to make ownership feel within reach. Product-specific detail (steel construction, wind ratings, certified windows, material specs) gives the Premier tier the credibility its price point demands.
Key actions included:

- Structured the website around “Book a Free Non-Sales Consultation” as the primary conversion goal.
